Summary of Case:	"Jaquan Henderson was wrongly convicted in 2012 of being in possession of a loaded firearm when outside his home in Chicago, Illinois, and failing to possess a valid firearm owner's identification (FOID) card. After being found guilty after a bench (judge only) trial, Henderson was sentenced to 18 months probation. Henderson appealed. On December 17, 2013 the Illinois Court of Appeals vacated Henderson's possession of a firearm conviction on the basis the Illinois' statute criminalizing that conduct had been declared unconstitutional by the Illinois Supreme Court in People v. Aguilar, 2 NE 3d 321, 2013 IL 112116, 377 Ill. Dec. 405 (Ill. Supreme Court, 9-12-2013 ). The Court affirmed his conviction of not possessing a valid FOID card."
