"George G. Heye was wrongly convicted on July 20, 1914 of removing the remains of deceased persons from the old Minisink Graveyard in Sussex County, New Jersey. After his conviction following a bench trial George Heye was ordered to pay a $100 fine. Heye appealed. In its November 1914 Term the New Jersey Supreme Court reversed Heye's conviction on the basis of insufficent evidence."
