"Michael Holliday was wrongly convicted in 1996 of a 1995 armed robbery of a travel agent after falsely confessing while under the influence of multiple illegal drugs. Holliday was sentenced to 12 years in prison, Holliday was released on parole in 2004. In 2005 another man confessed to multiple robberies, including one of those that Holliday had been convicted of committing. Based on the new evidence of his innocence the Court of Appeals quashed Holliday's conviction in November 2005."
