Summary of Case:	"Daryl Holloway was wrongly convicted in 1993 of sexual assault and burglary committed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1992. Holloway's prosecution was based on his identification by the victim. Holloway was sentenced to 120 years in prison. Holloway wrote a letter to the Milwaukee County District Attorney asserting his innocence, and the DA's Office began a post-conviction investigation of his case. Included in that investigatin was DNA testing of biological matter left by the perpetrator on the victim's underwear excluded Holloway. Based on the new exclusionary evidence Holloway filed a petition to vacate his conviction and for a new trial. On October 4, 2016 the DA's motion to dismiss the charges against Holloway was granted. Holloway was released after more than 23 years in custody."
