Summary of Case:	"Michael Ho Hung-kwan was a doctor wrongly convicted in 2011 of prescribing a total of HK$247 worth of medicine to his parents and son between June 2007 and November 2008 without them attending his clinic in Kowloon City in Hong Kong. He was sentenced to 200 hours of community sevice.Hiung-kwan appealed and his conviction was vacated on September 26, 2013 on the basis his conduct did not warrant a criminal prosecution. In its ruling the appeal court noted that Hung-kwan had gone through the normal procedure with the intention of obtaining medicine for his relatives without them attending the clinic."
