"Wrongly convicted in 2002 of murdering a vicar who Christopher Hunnisett began living with when he was 15, and who abused him for two years until the vicar's murder. Hunnisett's conviction was quashed by the Court of Appeals in 2010 based on new evidence of the sexual abuse and a retrial was ordered. Hunnisett was acquitted by the jury after more than six hours of deliberations. Hunnisett was wrongly imprisoned for 8 years." |
