Summary of Case:	"Jerry Lee Jenkins was wrongly convicted in 1987 of sexual assault in the February 6, 1986 rape of a woman in Waldorf, Massachusetts. Jenkins prosecution was based on his identification by the victim, who said her assailant was wearing a plaid shirt and a stocking mask. After his conviction by a jury, Jenkins was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole. Jenkins was released in 2010. In 2013 post-conviction DNA testing in Jenkins case excluded him as the woman's attacker, but it matched Norman Bruce Derr. Derr was serving terms of life in prison for two Maryland rapes, one committed in 1984 that he was linked to in by 2004 DNA testing, and one committed in 1984 that he was linked to be 2010 DNA testing. Based on the new exculpatory test results Jenkins' conviction was vacated on June 7, 2013 in Charles County, Maryland."
