Summary of Case:

"Victor Jensen was wrongly convicted in 2006 for the Feb 2, 2000 death of his father Marius Jensen at their home in Tarrington, Victoria, Australia. Marius died from a single .38 shot from a modified sawed-off shotgun. Jensen was arrrested on April 28, 2004. The prosecution's case was circumstantial with no forensic, eyewitness or confession evidence linking him to his father's death. After his conviction by a jury Jensen was sentenced to 20 years in prison with a minimum of 16 years before he was eligible for parole. Jensen appealed and his conviction was overturned by the Victoria Court of Appeals. Jensen was retried and after deliberating for three days he was acquitted by the jury on February 25 2011."
