"Operator of the Village Pub in Parsonsfield, Maine who was wrongly convicted of trafficking and cultivating marijuana. The charges were brought based on information provided the police by state liquor enforcement officials that they obtained during an inspection of the business. Dayle Lynn Johnson entered a guilty plea conditioned on the outcome of her appeal of the trial court's denial of her motion to suppress the search on the grounds it violated her 14th Amendment rights against unreasonable search and seizure. On January 13, 2009 the Maine Supreme Judicial Court ruled the liquor inspectors exceeded a valid regulatory inspection and overturned her conviction."
