Summary of Case:	"Efrain Johnson was wrongly convicted in February 2012 of murder in aid of racketeering related to the deaths of three people in 2005 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Prior to his sentencing Johnson's lawyer filed a motion to vacate his conviction. In July 2013 U.S. District Court Judge Janet Bond Arterton overturned Efrain Johnson's conviction and ordered his acquittal on the basis the prosecution introduced insufficient evidence that he was part of, or knowingly associated with, an organized criminal enterprise as required by the federal statute. Johnson remained in custody awaiting a state trial."
