"Steve Jordine was wrongly convicted in December 2011 of receiving stolen property related to the theft of $44 million from an armoured truck in Kingston, Jamaica in January 2010. Jordine was acquitted of the charges he was indicted for allegedly committing, but the jury convicted him of receiving stolen property that he had not been charged with. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison. On May 7, 2012 the Jamaica Court of Appeal acquitted Jordine because he had been convicted of an unindicted crime."
