Summary of Case: |
"Serena Kozakura was wrongly convicted in July 2007 of allegedly destroying the property of a male friend in November 2006, by allegedly kicking in a door. She was convicted based on the testimony of the man and a friend. She was sentenced to 14 months in prison, suspended on condition of three years of good behavior. She appealed and on March 3, 2008 Tokyo's High Court overturned her conviction on the basis that she could not have fit through the hole in the door. Ms. Kozakura has 44" breasts and her lawyer showed the appeals court judges a plate the size of the hole to demonstrate that she couldn't have fit through the hole in the door." |
