Summary of Case:	"Jagatheesan Krishnasamy was wrongly convicted on March 2, 2006 of drug trafficking when an actual drug trafficker accused him to get a lighter sentence himself. Krishnasamy was arrested when he went to the drug trafficker to collect money he was owed. After his conviction for selling 100 ecstasy tablets, Krishnasamy was sentenced to five years in prison and 10 strokes of the cane. On May 26, 2006, Singapore's High Court acquitted Jagatheesan Krishnasamy because there was no evidence he had never been known to have anything to do with drugs and was never seen with any drugs. Released after being imprisoned for 9-1/2 months from his arrest on August 4, 2005."
