"Dwain Kyles and Calvin Hollins Jr. were wrongly convicted in 2009 of violating a Chicago Housing Court order, related to a stampede at the E2 nightclub in 2003 that killed 21 people and injured 50. The two men were they co-owners of the E2, and they were each sentenced to 2 years in prison. On November 16. 2011 the Illinois Appellate Court overturned their convictions on the basis the order they were convicted of violating was ambiguously worded."
