Summary of Case:	"Zack Shahin, an American, J.M., an Argentinean, F.L. a Canadian, and A.S., a British, were codefedants wrongly convicted of collecting Dh10 million in bribes. Shahin was setnenced to 15 years in prison and his three codefendants were sentenced to 10 years in prison. They are also jointly fined Dh28 million. F.L. and A. S. were also jointly fined DH500,000 and ordered to return to their firm the same amount which they were accused of embezzeling. On November 10, 2013 the Dubai Court of Appeal vacated the convictions of Shahin, J.M., F.L. and A.S., and cleared him of any criminal wrongdoing."
