Summary of Case:	"David Ray Lea was wrongly convicted of improper photography in Brazoria County, Texas. Lea was sentenced to two years in prison. In 2014 the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals ruled that the statute under which Gray was convicted was unconstitutional. See, Ex parte Thompson, 442 S.W.3d 325 (Tex. Crim. App. 2014) Gray filed a state habeas corpus petition to vacate his three convictions based on the 2014 ruling in the Thompson case. On April 6, 2016 the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals granted David Ray Lea's habeas corpus petition by a majority of 2 to 1, on the basis the statute he had been convicted of was unconstitutional. The Court ordered that Lea's conviction be set-aside and ordered dismissal of charges."
