Summary of Case:	"Dwayne Lequire was wrongly convicted in federal court of eight counts of embezzelment on July 9, 2010 in Tucson, Arizona. Lequire was the accountant for former Arizona Congressman Richard Renzi, and Lequire was charged with conspiring with Renzi to embezzle $796,000 of insurance premiums held in trust by Patriot Insurance that was owned by Renzi. On March 5, 2012 the federal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals reserved Lequire's conviction on the basis that no evidence had been presented at trial of an essential element that he committed embezzlement. The Court remanded his case with an order that the District Court enter a judgment of acquittal on all counts."
