"Patrick McField, Osbourne Douglas and Brandon Leslie were wrongly convicted in September 2010 of murdering Omar Samuels on July 5, 2009 in George Town, Cayman Islands. The forensic evidence excluded all three from the crime, but two eyewitnesses identified they were the men who shot Samuels. On November 29, 2011 the Cayman Islands Court of Appeal acquitted the three men in quashing their convictions and ordered their immediate release."
