"Major Ting Li was wrongly convicted after a court martial by a military tribunal of causing a disturbance in February 2010 at army headquarters in Canbera during a confrontation with Mr. Andrew Snashall, the director of special financial claims. He was sentenced to a severe reprimand and a fine of $AUS5,000 with 3,000 suspended. On November 27, 2013 Australia's High Court overturned Ting Li's conviction on the basis the prosecution failed to introduce sufficient evidence he intended to cause a disturbance."
