Summary of Case:

John David Logan was co-defendant of Frank Laverick. Both men were wrongly convicted in 2005 of being involved in an £80 million ($160 million) drug smuggling ring. Sentenced to 20 years of hard labor in prison. In December 2007 the Ghana Supreme Court of Ghana quashed the conviction and sentence of both Laverick and John Logan after acquitting the men. Both men were ordered released after two years of wrongful imprisoment.
