"Eric D. Lynn was wrongly convicted of murder in November 1994 by a bench trial based on the testimony of an informant paid by the police for her testimony. Eric Lynn's conviction was overturned in 2003 and he was subsequently released on bail pending a retrial. Lynn was acquitted on October 31, 2007 after he retrial. He had been wrongly imprisoned for 12 years. In August 2008 Lynn Filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against Montgomery County for his wrongful imprisonment." |
