Summary of Case:	"Eamonn Magee was wrongly convicted in 2015 of assaulting a woman at an apartment in Belfast, Northern Ireland in July 2014. His conviction was based on the testimony of the woman, Louise Mullan, and his defense was that the woman was beating on him and he grabbed her arms to stop her. Magee was sentenced to serve four months in jail. Magee appealed. His accuser Mullan failed to appear for two appeal hearings. On August 12, 2015 Mullan failed to appear for a third time, and after finding there was no exceptional reasons for an adjournment, the judge granted Magee's appeal and quashed his conviction."
