"Ephraim Makomeke was headmaster of Highfield High School in Zimbabwe when he was wrongly convicted in 2010 of the indecent assault of a student on December 5, 2009. The only evidence against Makomeke was the student's testimony that when he gave her a ride home from a shopping center where he saw her loitering, he inserted his fingers thrice into her private parts. Makomeke was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Makomeke appealed and was acquitted by Zimbabwe's High Court on June 4, 2011 based on insufficient evidence, which bars his retrial."
