Summary of Case:	"A man from Galway, England was wrongly convicted on October 21, 2013 of sexually assaulting his then nine-year-old niece in 1993. The uncle denied the events ever happened that he was accused of committed twenty years earlier. After his conviction by a jury the 64-year-old man was sentenced to serve eight years in prison with the last three suspended. He appealed. On July 28, 2015 the Criminal Court of Appeals quashed his conviction on the basis the evidence presented at trial was insufficient to prove his guilt because of irreconcilable inconsistencies in the evidence presented by the prosecution about the alleged assaults. The Court ordered that the man cannot be identified by name."
