Summary of Case:	"Maruti Rayappa Dhangar, Laxman Babu Konkeri and Bhima Sidda Mang were codefendants wrongly convicted in 1993 of murder in the death of two people on Septembe 26, 1988 in Kolhapur, India. They were convicted based on a single eyewitness, while other witnesses and circumstantial evidence excluded them from being involved in the crime. The three were sentenced to life imprisonment. On March 26, 2014 the Bombay High Court quashed the convictions of the three men, and ordered their acquittal in ruling the eyewitness evidence was discredited by the other witnesses and the circumstantial evidence, and therefore there was insufficient evidence to support their convictions. They were ordered immediately released."
