Summary of Case:

"Kevin Martin and codefendants Anthony Taylor and Michael Brown were wrongly convicted in 1995 by a jury of robbery and possession of a prohibited weapon in London, England. Police planted evidence implicating the three men in the armed robbery. Scotland Yard detectives bragged they "stitched up guys like you all day long," by planting crucial evidence against suspects. Among other things, a palm print of Martin's on the robbed shop's counter magically appeared seven months after the robbery, and after he was in custody. On September 29, 1999 the Criminal Case Review Commission referred the case of the three men to the Court of Appeals based on new evidence. The Court of Appeals quashed the convictions of the three men on July 12, 2000 and did not order a retrial."
