"Robert Mash was an Auckland, New Zealand police officer wrongly convicted on November 8, 2013 of dangerous driving when he crashed while pursing a stolen vehicle on November 17, 2012. Mash was sentenced to disqualification from driving for 3 months. In July 2014 New Zealand's Court of Appeal quashed Mash's conviction on the basis of errors by the trial judge and ordered the charge dismissed."
