Summary of Case:	"Anthony Ray Massingill was co-defendant of Cornelius Dupree Jr. Both men were wrongly convicted in 1980 of a November 23, 1979 car-jacking and robbery of a couple in Dallas, Texas, and the rape of the woman. The prosecution's key evidence was the courtroom identifications of Dupree and Massingill by both of the victims. Cornelius Dupree Jr and Anthony Ray Massingill were sentenced to 75 years in prison. Dupree and Massingill were excluded by DNA tests in October 2010 of being the perpetrators. Dupree had been released on parole in July 2010. On January 4, 2011 Dupree's conviction was overturned. Massingill remains imprisoned for a separate rape that he was convicted of committing. With the support of the Dallas County DA's Office the charges were dismissed against Masingill on October 17, 2014 related to the 1979 car-jacking."
