Summary of Case:	"Logan Scott McClelland was wrongly convicted in 2010 of reckless manslaughter in the death of an employee at the Big O Tires in Monument, Colorado on August 9, 2009. The jury acquitted McClelland of first and second degree murder, but found him guilty of reckless manslaughter. After his conviction the judge sentenced him to six years in the prison. McClelland appealed. On April 2, 2015 the Colorado Court of Appeals reversed McClelland's conviction on the basis the trial judge erred by not giving the jury a "self-defense law instruction" on the charge of reckless manslaughter; that the trial judge erred by allowing the prosecution to admit three prejudicial photographs; and, the prosecutor made factually incorrect statements during closing arguments. Logan McClelland was acquitted by a jury on March 17, 2016 after a retrial."
