"Raymond Mickelberg aka Ray Mickelberg was wrongly convicted in August 2010 of stealing a roll of tape from a Perth, Australia store on January 20, 2009. Mickelberg's conviction was overturned by Western Australia's Court of Appeals in April 2011. This was Ray Mickelberg's second wrongful conviction. In a previous case Ray Mickelberg and his brothers Peter Mickelberg and Brian Mickelberg were framed by police and convicted in 1983 of defrauding $653,000 in gold bullion from the Perth Mint in exchange for worthless cheques."
