Summary of Case:

"Miles Richard was wrongly convicted in 1995 of murder and attempted murder in Dallas County, Texas based on an eyewitness identification. Richard Miles was sentenced to 40 years in prison. Centurion Ministries became involved and discovered that the police had failed to disclose a report that the witness identified Miles in a line-up after he had seen Miles escorted out of a police car. Miles filed a motion for a new trial and with the Dallas County DA agreeing that Miles had not received a fair trial and that he was likely innocent, his conviction was overturned and he was released on a personal recognizance bond on October 12, 2009. He was incarcerated for more than 15 years including a year awaiting trial."
