Summary of Case:	"Daniel Wade Moore was wrongly convicted of the 1999 murder of Karen Tipton in Decauter, Alabama. Daniel Moore was convicted in 2002 and sentenced to death, in part based on cryptic statements he made to his uncle. After Moore's conviction was overturned because the prosecution failed to disclose exculpatory documents and an FBI report, Moore's retrial began on February 11, 2008, and ended in a mistrial on March 12 because of a hung jury. Due to pretrial publicity, the prospective jury pool was comprised of more than 1,000 people. Moore was acquitted after his third trial on May 14, 2009. The jury deliberated for seven days.
