Summary of Case:

"Jim Morrison was granted a full pardon by Florida's Clemency Board on December 9, 2010 of his 1970 indecent exposure and public profanity convictions for allegedly swearing and exposing himself during a Miami concert in 1969. Morrison was sentenced to six months in jail and fined $500. Morrison denied exposing himself and there was no photograph of him doing so although there was a multitude of photographers at the concert. Morrison's sentence was stayed pending the outcome of his appeal, but he died in Paris in 1971 while his appeal was pending. Morrison's widow told the press after the pardon was announced that "I have no doubt that he would rip the ‘pardon’ into tiny pieces” because he didn't do anything wrong."
