Summary of Case:	"Peter Mwafrika was wrongly convicted on February 13, 2013 of being one of four men who murdered Mwafrika's brother, Cosamu Mwafrika, on February 11, 2010 as a result of a dispute Cosamu had with his mother over family land near Shaji Village in Mbozi District, Tanzania. The prosecution's only witness was Cosamu's wife. After Mwafrika's conviction by High Court Judge Noel Chocha he was sentenced to death. In June 2014 Tanzania's Court of Appeal quashed Mwafrika's conviction on the basis there was no independent corroboration of the witnesses testimony. Mwafrika was ordered immediately released."
