Summary of Case:	Shah Nawaz was wrongly convicted of being knowingly concerned in the importation of heroin. In 2002 Nawaz submitted an application to the Criminal Case Review Commission (CCRC) for review of his conviction as a miscarriage of justice. Nawaz's case was referred by the CCRC on 8/08/2005 to the England and Wales Court of Appeal (Criminal Division). On 1/18/2007 the appeals court quashed Shah Nawaz's convictions.
