Summary of Case:	"Timothy Neininger was wrongly convicted on March 9, 1993 of gross sexual imposition based on his alleged fondling of a 14-year-old girl. After his conviction Neininger was sentenced to an indefinite term of 18 months imprisonment and two years probation. Neininger was incarcerated from March 11, 1993 to July 12, 1993 when he was released on parole, after which he was on two years of shock probation. On March 3, 2000 Neininger's conviction was set aside by the Tuscarawas County Court of Common Pleas based on new evidence he had been misidentified, and the judge determined that Neininger was a wrongfully imprisoned person under Ohio Revised Code 2743.48. On April 10, 2000 Timothy Neininger filed a complaint with the Ohio Court of Claims seeking wrongful imprisonment compensation. On January 24, 2001 the Ohio Court of Claims entered a judgment against the State of Ohio in favor of Neininger and awarded him compensation of $11,069.75 ($8,630 for 126 days of imprisonment; $437.35 for costs; and, $2,002.40 in attorney's fees related to his wrongful imprisonment action)."
