Two witnesses identified Nesmith as being near the crime scene, although the victim couldn't identify her assailant. Nesmith was sentenced to 9 to 25 yrars in prison. Nesmith was exonerated in 2001 by post-conviction DNA tests. He was imprisoned a total of 14 years." |
