Summary of Case:	"Felix Engsalige Nyaaba was wrongly convicted on February 27, 2015 of the indecent assault a 5-year-old girl 34 days after his wedding in February 2014. The girl was in his bridal team. Nyaaba's accuser was a neighbor, and after his arrested on March 19, 2014 he was released on bail. After Nyaaba's conviction following a bench trial, he was sentenced to two years in prison. Nyaaba appealed. On July 2, 2015, an Accra Fast Track Court presided over by Justice R.B. Batu acquitted and discharged Felix of the charges on the basis of insufficient evidence. The Court's ruling describes that the charges were "cooked up" by Nyaaba's neighter. The Court's ruling stated, "the conviction and sentence of the appellant was clearly against the weight of evidence before the court." Nyaaba was released two days later, on July 4, after more than four months in custody."
