Summary of Case:	"Naser Oric was wrongly convicted in June 2006 of war crimes committed in 1992 and 1993 in Bosnia where Naser Oric was a Serbian commander. Oric was sentenced to two years in prison by the United Nations court in the Hague. Oric appealed, and on July 3, 2008 the International Criminal Tribunal.for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) overturned Oric's conviction that he failed to prevent the murder and torture of Bosnian prisoners on the basis of insufficient evidence, since the mere commission of the crimes didn't constitute proof of his guilt."
