Summary of Case:	"Michael Overd was wrongly convicted in March 2015 of breaching the peace in Taunton, England in 2014 for publicly giving speeches in the streets uncomplimentary to homosexuality by citing the Bible and quoting Leviticus 20:13 that condemns homosexuality. After his conviction following a two day trial Overd, 50, was fined. He appealed. On December 11, 2015 the Taunton Crown Court overturned Overd's conviction on the basis the prosecutoin failed to introduce sufficient evidence proving he had breached the peace, after the prosecution withdrew its opposition to his appeal. The trial judge in Overd's case, Shamim Qureshi is a devout Muslim who also sits as "presiding judge" at the Muslim Arbitration Tribunal that enforces Sharia Law based on the Koran. During Overd's trial he openly accused Judge Qureshi of “censorship” and “redacting” the bible."
