"William H. Padgett was wrongly convicted twice of the first-degree murder of a policeman based on the eyewitness testimony of two people, and sentenced to life in prison. After 14 years in prison doubts about William Padgett's guilt resulted in him being administered "truth serum," and based on the results and other new evidence, William Padget was granted a full pardon by the Michigan parole board."
