"Wrongly convicted on December 18, 2008, of being one of four men who robbed and assaulted a man in Basseterre, St. Kitts. On September 15, 2010, the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal quashed the convictions of Jamal Parris and ordered his release based on insufficient evidence. Among other things, the victim and other eyewitnesses stated all the attackers wore dark shirs and jeans, and on the day fo the assault Parris wore a white shirt. Parris was wrongly imprisoned for almost two years."
