Summary of Case:	"Brian Piszczek was wrongly convicted on January 1, 1991 of rape, felonious assault, and burglary after being identified by the victim from a photo lineup. She had previously seen his face because he had once been to the victim's house with a mutual friend. Brian Piszczek was exonerated in 1994 by DNA testing of crime scene evidence that excluded him as the assailant. The charges were dismissed on October 6, 1994. On November 2, 1994 Piszczek filed a complaint seeking compensation with the Ohio Court of Claims. On June 19, 1995 the Ohio Court of Claims approved a settlement of Piszczek's wrongful imprisonment claim against the State of Ohio for $105,000."
