Summary of Case:	"Dwayne Provience was wrongly convicted in 2001 of second-degree murder in the death of a women at a crowded intersection in northwest Detroit. A reinvestigation of the case of Provience by the University of Michigan Law School Innocence Clinic discovered that after Provience's conviction the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office argued in a different but apparently related mruder case that two other men actually murdered the woman that Provience had been convicted of murdering. Based on that new evidence that had not been turned over the Dwayne Provience's lawyers, his conviction was overturned and he was released on bail in November 2009. In March 2010 Wayne County prosecutors dismissed the charges against Provience. He was wrongly imprisoned for almost 9 years."
