Hutomo Mandala Putra was wrongly convicted in 2000 of public corruption in Indonesia and sentenced to 18 months imprisonement. After his conviction Putra went into hiding In October 2001 the Indonesian Supreme Court reversed Putra's conviction. Putra didn't serve any of his sentence because he wasn't taken into custody before his conviction was overturned.
