Summary of Case:	"Rupeni Naisoro and Sainivalati Ramuwai were co-defendants wrongly convicted in 2007 of the murder of Navneet Kumar, 17, in Tailevu, Fiji. Their convictions were based on Ramuwai's confession. Ramuwai and Naisoro were both sentenced to life in prison on May 16, 2007. On March 23, 2012 Fiji's Court of Appeal quashed the the conviction and sentence of Ramuwai and Naisoro and ordered that a verdict of not guilty be entered."
