Summary of Case:	Amer Ramzan was wrongly convicted of conspiracy to launder the proceeds of drug trafficking. In 2002 Ramzan submitted an application to the Criminal Case Review Commission (CCRC) for review of his conviction as a miscarriage of justice. Ramzan's case was referred by the CCRC on 8/19/2005 to the England and Wales Court of Appeal (Criminal Division). On 7/18/2006 the appeals court quashed Amer Ramzan's convictions.
