Summary of Case:

"Mohammad Rasool and Mohammad Irfan were codefendants wrongly convicted in March 2014 of explosives and drug charges in Kalupur, Pakistan. Rasool and Irfan were in a car stopped by Pakistani police on July 4, 2012, in which the police arrested them claiming they found explosives and 20kg of charas (Hashish). Rasool and Irfan were both sentenced to 14 years in prison. They appealed. On January 27, 2015 the Peshawar High Court acquitted Rasool and Irfan based on evidence the material wasn't explosive that was seized by the police, and that their vehicle had no secret cavity where the police testified at trial they found the drugs."
