Summary of Case:	"Karl Roberts and Oliver Johnson were police officers and codefendants wrongly convicted in 2012 of violating Jamaica's Corruption Prevention Act in 2008. The prosecution of Johnson and Roberts was based on the allegation that they accepted a bribe amounting to $14,000 in 2008 from a man in exchange for not reporting a quantity of ganja that was found at his home. Johnson and Roberts were arrested three years later in 2011. In January 2018 a three-judge panel of the Jamaica's Court of Appeal unanimously set-aside the convictions of Johnson and Roberts based on the complainant's conflicting evidence during the men's trial, and ordered their acquittals."
