Summary of Case:	"Eric Robinson and Lavont Guillory were wrongly convicted in June 1994 of a Los Angeles drive-by shooting that occurred in June 1993. Eric Robinson and Guillory were sentenced to life in prison. In 2005 DNA testing excluded Guillory and the charges were dismissed against him. In late 2006 Robinson obtained the LA Police Department records that showed he was excluded as a suspect within days of his arrest. Robinson had type "B" blood and it was known that the shooter had type "O". Based on the non-disclosed evidence proving his innocence, the LA District Attorney's did not oppose the dismissal of the charges against Robinson and his release from prison in early 2007, after 13-1/2 years of wrongful imprisonment. Guillory and Robinson filed federal civil rights lawsuits against the LAPD and Los Angeles County. Guillory settled his lawsuit in 2007 for $999,999, and Robinson settled his lawsuit in 2008 for $1.75 million."
